MUDr. Tomáš Briatka
MUDr. Tomáš Briatka draws on many years of experience in general surgery and vascular surgery. He graduated in 2011 from the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové. In 2020 he passed the certificate in general surgery and in 2024 the certificate in vascular surgery.
During his studies he completed several internships abroad - in Mexico, Portugal and Bosnia. He was also involved in student scientific activities at the Institute of Medical Biology and Genetics.
He completed a number of internships at leading institutions in Prague - at the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Hospital na Homolce and at the 2nd Surgical Clinic of Cardiovascular Surgery at the General University Hospital. As a side activity, he treated chronic wounds in residential social services for several years. At present, in addition to his activities at the Vasmedic clinic, he is involved in the education of nurses at the Higher Vocational School of Nursing in Kolín, as well as in postgraduate education of nurses at the Regional Hospital Kolín, where he also holds the position of head physician at the Centre for Vascular Interventions.
