MUDr. Petra Filová
A renowned and sought-after gynaecologist with many years of experience in the field, she also specialises in aesthetic gynaecology. During her practice, she has worked both in state hospitals and private clinics, and has had numerous internships abroad. As part of her professional development, she continuously educates herself and applies the latest findings of medical science.
After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno in 2007, she continued her postgraduate studies there. She started her professional career at the 1st Surgical Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University at St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno. In 2013 she passed the European certification in gynaecology and obstetrics.
In 2009, she gained experience first at the Clinic of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine in Brno, in 2009 - 2011 she worked at the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic at the University Hospital in Brno. In 2011, she moved to the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic at the Bulovka University Hospital in Prague, where she stayed until 2014.
From 2014 to 2016, she worked at the Department of Gynaecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Na Homolce Hospital in Prague, where she focused mainly on laparoscopic surgery. From 2016 to 2020 she further improved her skills in laparoscopic surgery at the Department of Gynaecology of the Institute of Gynaecology in Prague and at the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague.
During her studies she participated in several internships - in Copenhagen, Horn, Vienna and Salzburg. She also returned to Vienna in 2014 to complete a fellowship in urogynecology at the Open Medical Institute at AKH Wien.
She is currently practicing gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as aesthetic gynaecology in several private clinics, where she capitalizes on her extensive experience.
